I commend you all for the strength that you've attained,
Speaking your mind, and defending your rights with no reason for shame.
The bindings of tradition breaking with each passing wind,
your power growing while others yell about sin.
Ridiculed, mocked, persecuted, and killed,
And only because things don't fit the current bill.
All of this could have been avoided quite easily,
but people are unforgiving for unwanted possibilities.
If only they weren't selfish with their wants and needs,
maybe they'll remember what it is to be a community.
